The bicycles are everywhere! The central train station had an enclosed parking area with bikes stacked two levels high to park 10,000 bikes. My favorite day was our bicycle day to Haarlem and Amstelveen. The city felt crowded and it was refreshing to pedal through the countryside and explore a bit more of the Netherlands before we said good-bye to Europe.

Good bye to the known and hello to the unknown. That’s what I think about going to Turkey and Nepal.

Hey Balery, Sipping coffee at starbucks I see. The canals and buldings looked interesting.
And the sign no walking with children or no children …, must be a declining growth city, the bicycles look like fun and I didn’t see any rain.
